TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

These Terms and Conditions of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of www.pmfii.com and the products and services offered by Iron Works of LI Inc. d/b/a PMF II (“PMF II,” “Iron Works of LI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By using our website, submitting a contact or appointment request, requesting an estimate, accepting or signing a proposal, submitting a deposit, approving drawings or designs, or otherwise authorizing us to perform work, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and to any additional terms contained in the applicable estimate, proposal, invoice, contract, change order, drawing approval, or other written project documentation.

If a signed project-specific agreement conflicts with these general Terms, the signed project-specific agreement will control with respect to that project, except where prohibited by applicable law.

PMF II provides custom ornamental ironwork, metal fabrication, welding, structural and miscellaneous metal work, installation, repair, refinishing, and related services for residential, commercial, architectural, and industrial applications.

2. PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Our services may include, but are not limited to:

Availability and pricing depend upon the specific project, field conditions, dimensions, design, materials, finishes, engineering requirements, access, and scheduling.

3. ESTIMATES AND PROPOSALS

Estimates and proposals are based on the information available at the time they are prepared, including photographs, drawings, customer descriptions, preliminary measurements, plans, specifications, and observable site conditions.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, estimates are valid for 30 days.

Pricing may be revised if there are changes involving:

Any work not specifically included in the written proposal is excluded from the quoted price unless subsequently approved as additional work.

4. CUSTOM FABRICATION

Most products manufactured by PMF II are custom fabricated specifically for an individual property or project.

Custom products may be based upon unique:

Once materials have been ordered or custom fabrication, engineering, galvanizing, metallizing, powder coating, glass production, or other project-specific processing has begun, the project may not be cancelable without charges for work and materials already incurred.

Custom products generally cannot be returned, restocked, or resold as standard inventory.

5. DEPOSITS AND AUTHORIZATION TO BEGIN WORK

The customer’s deposit constitutes authorization for PMF II to proceed with the project in accordance with the accepted proposal or agreement.

Upon receipt of the required deposit, PMF II may begin activities including:

The required deposit and payment schedule will be stated in the applicable estimate, proposal, contract, or invoice.

6. COOLING-OFF PERIOD AND CANCELLATION

Where required by applicable law or the customer’s contract, the customer shall have a three-day cooling-off or cancellation period from the date of signing.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to reduce or eliminate any cancellation right provided to a customer by applicable federal, state, or local law.

After the applicable cancellation period has expired, PMF II may retain or apply deposits toward costs already incurred, including:

7. FINAL MEASUREMENTS

Measurements taken for estimating purposes may be preliminary.

PMF II may require final field measurements or templates before fabrication begins.

The customer must notify PMF II of any construction or modification that may affect our measurements, including changes to:

If conditions change after final measurements are completed, additional fabrication, labor, materials, site visits, or charges may be required.

8. CUSTOMER APPROVALS

PMF II may provide drawings, sketches, renderings, photographs, samples, finish selections, or material selections for customer approval.
